There's a reason why the 9/11 conspiracy theories aren't going away

The net is *the* source of information...

Unfettered and unrestricted, just as our forefathers intended

Is ALL the net correct, course not... but that unchecked incorrectness allows you to check for correctness... things filtered through media or the end all of info - the encylopedia - only offer one, or at least only a few viewpoints... on the net everyone can have a voice... and everyone can check to see if that voice knows what its talking about...

Without an alternative viewpoint, how is the truth of anything measured? Trust? Trust is entirely unrelated to proof.

Also, what are "conspiracy theories"? I would say a lot of the things I talk about fall under conspiracy fact. When we use terms like "conspiracy theorist," we're using a derisive term that was created back in the 60s by a think tank, designed to marginalize and pigeonhole anyone who has an alternative viewpoint contradicting the "official" line. So I really shun that term.

"Conspiracy theory" is a trigger word.

 

Like any media outlet, there is always risk of misinformation. But like Yelbow says, the amount that can be discussed in a short amount of time is remarkable. You have billions of things to read and compare over the internet, and you have instant access to people with all angles.

Isn't it a bit odd on how laws are being put into place to try to restrict the internet? What's the point to that? Are we looking to China for inspiration or what?

You can't be told the concept of math... you just have to understand the correlation between 2+2 and 4+4 before you can figure out 2+4... likewise, understanding corruption and its role in our daily lives isn't as simple as knowing a few facts, it takes an understanding of the systems in place and how they are being manipulated...

I'd say pressed_rat could teach a class on such a subject

Well, quite frankly, yes. China is merely the test lab for what's soon to be implemented here in the states and across much of the West. That's why the UN granted China "most favored nation" status. It's only a matter of time before we have one-child policies implemented here. Some countries in Europe are already talking about this.

 

You're right. Just like how words like 'Hallucinogen', and 'Idealist' are pretty much designed so much. How do we know that what we are seeing isn't real? Why call me an idealist: Is that a way to say that peace is impossible and only exists as an ideal? It's all very presumptious.

What I meant by conspiracy theory, is what information is wrongly correlated? How can you be sure that it is conspiracy fact?

I know they can watch and track anything. But I am unaware of laws restricting the internet .

 

I see what you're saying, but in that sense, how can we say that ANYTHING we're told is a fact, especially coming from the big media which spends billions and billions of dollars to create better and more effective propaganda?

A lot of the things I talk about were written by the big players in the system we're living under today -- people such as Carroll Quigley, who was a historian for the CFR and a mentor to Bill Clinton at Georgetown University. You should really look into his two books.

 

I totally agree with you, anytime someone believes something that's not the official story, they are slapped with being a "Conspirator". I feel like people are brain washed to think that way.

As for the main topic. I have heard both sides of the story and a lot of different view points, the one that has the most proof and makes more sense to me is the fact that it was an inside job. A mass greatly organized event that happened for the benefits of hundreds of other people. I always give my opinion when asked about it, or if I think i can educate someone who looks bright enough, I give it a shot.

But for the most part educating other people about the facts is really hard, because they are already convinced by the government. The only way this part of society will learn, is by looking up the facts, and looking at different viewpoints for everything that happened. For the most part, we CANT teach them, its sometime they have to find.

 

I am not exactly good at remembering terms, just the gist of it. but there were laws trying to be passed that would affect internet neutrality. There was something that was trying to be passed that would limit the speed of sites that weren't a part of certain corporations... in other words, some sites would have restricted bandwidth. Only big company sites wouldn't be affected by this. But private sites and what not would be. Now, I ask: what is the point to that? It should raise suspicion. And it could be said, "Well, internet restriction isn't in full affect and you're just precicting future events". But again, what is the point to these rules? It only makes sense that there would be an underlining goal for these things taking place... there just HAS to be an end result, and the beginning of it predicts the future.

 

I want to make it clear that none of this is novelty to me. I talk about these things like I do because time really is running out fast. You're going to wake up one of these days and find that the rug has been pulled out from under you, and it's not going to be pretty. That time is very soon. I am talking a matter of a couple years, if that. Most people won't even know who the real perpetrators are because they always have their scapegoats to cast the blame on. When they collapse the economy, they're going to have their boogeymen all set up, and the majority of the public will go along with whatever they're told and will then turn to their very oppressors to save them.

You are exactly right. What exactly is fact? If we just accept these facts at face value without validating them first, then we are just parotting information, but how can we sure that we aren't doing the same, maybe we're the dummies. But I am not sure of that, too many things points to a grander scheme and I don't think any of it can or should be ignored.

I never read their books, but could you be reading to into what they are saying? Could it be that you are adding something that just isn't there? I am not saying you're wrong, and I am no position to say that you are. You obviously would knw more because you read the books, and I am saying you're wrong. I just like looking at all the angles.
