Cant make it to nationals, any gatherings near michigan???

Hey everyone,
I was really hoping to make it to nationals this year for my 1st gathering but i do not think that is going to happen at this point. Just wondering if anyone knows of any regionals or anything like that near michigan this year.

Also what are the regionals like?

Regionals are great! They are sometimes small, 100 people or so but can be larger or smaller. Remember, it only takes 3 people to make a circle. I have heard rumor that there will be a "Gathering of Tribes" in Arkansas that is much closer to you than Wyoming. Keep an eye out for that.
I just moved from Mi last year. I lived in the Kalamazoo area for 16 years and Ann Arbor for my last 2 before moving to the West coast. I dont miss Mi at all but I do miss my family there...

 

That one MI regional I went to in 99? 00? was what I call a Rasta-Buddha gathering...everybody as sitting around all stoneyfied rubbing bellies bulging with yummy food. It was on State land, so USFuSs couldn't hassle us, and State & local cops I guess chose not to. There's a regional Family site, great lakes rainbow .org or .info or something. google it, but whatever you do, don't look for links in the sticky!
