ive always wondered if earth continued to exist for agges later.
would all the different possibilities of songs run out and people would start to sing the same songs say thousands of years later.
i was just wonderin lol. i know that it wudnt matter anyway cos no one wud know.
but is there an endless list of different possibilities for songs, or would music repeat itself?

I've thought about that. The chance of one song being repeated note for note by coincidence is a tiny tiny tinnny chance.. but maybe phrases of songs and just little bits of music.. like a bassline or something would get repeated somewhere. I think it happens sometimes now, have you ever been listening to something and thought it sounded just like something else in some parts?

There are only so many notes and keys and things in the world.. unless you can invent new ones?

    I always thought about this!
It is a tiny chance but if the world does exist for billions of years its probably gonna happen. But the world wont exist for billions of years IMO

Well considering the range of notes, combined with rhythms it seems VERY unlikely we would run out of combinations any time soon... but then again the farther you drift from the scales and such the more obscure the music sounds, so yeah there would be repetitions

    HERES an example: http://youtube.com/watch?v=xkx4ia6Th1A
