I have just suffered an extremely unusual dream, and I am not sure if it was infact, a dream. It has made me so afraid for my safety that while it is 4.22am, and I have been asleep since 1, I cannot sleep any longer. Either it was a dream, or I did in fact, just have a seizure. I know this sounds strange, but listen to my explanation and then judge me. I had a dream before this happened, from which I awoke, and I was going back to sleep. Suddenly I started to think of reasons why my house, or the earth would vibrate. I ended with the image of a man with a really strong truck pushing my house. It was then I started having this very strange sensation of vibrating. It was extremely strong, and though I wanted to move I couldnt. I could do nothing but lie there and wait for it to end. I know I was dreaming, because of, first of all, the ideas I had for why my house would shake. But the whole time I was shaking, I just lay there staring at my window with one eye. I must have been awake, I was fully aware of where I was, and though I wanted to move, the vibration was just so strong I couldnt. I couldnt even look somewhere else. Throughout this, i could hear the sound of what my brain told me was a truck, but when I re-enacted this when I was trying to figure out what the fuck had just happened, the sound my hand made off my wall was exactly that of the sound of the truck. Maybe I am just being a hypocondriac, and it was all a vicious dream. We have all had dreams that felt like they were real because they knew where they were, what time it was etc. But even though I have never in my life suffered a seizure, there is just something about this dream that doesn't feel right. I know this sounds kooky as fuck and that I belong now is a mental home, but perhaps one of you who is clued into dreams, may understand, and tell me what in God's name just happened.
seemed like it could have been that for a bit, I was certainly 'paralysed' as it were. Like I say, I couldnt even move my eyes, my left eye was closed my right eye was fixed on the window. But it doesnt explain the incredible vibration I was feeling, which like i say, i was certain was actually a seiure when I was back to reality
Weird... could it have been a hallucination? I don't mean to come off as skeptical... I believe you, but it can be tricky sometimes to tell. I know I've been confused as to whether I'm being attacked by a ghost or having a hypnogogic delusion... It's reeeeeally hard to tell, but I know that usually after you have a seizure you feel like absolute SHIT afterwards. You're really really tired and sore.
ur rite. im a silly gobshite, but it felt all too real and i really felt like i was wide awake when in fact i wasnt. I've never had such an unusual sensation. fucking scary stuff, hope it doesnt happen again. anyway, thanks for your help in clearing that up.
