Anyone right there with me in that his older stuff is the shit? Both selected ambient works albums are amazing, as well as some selected songs he's done, and Drukqs most definitely.

    Opinions?

EDIT: I've checked out tuss before and had about the same opinion you had... It was mediocre and I just couldn't find the originality of aphex twin in any of the music.

Alberto Basalm and Moo kid make that album supreme. I love it though. All this lords of acid and analogue shit just sucks. I've read loads of interviews with Aphex twin and I've come to the conclusion that he's just putting that shit out for kicks, and not really putting much into it.

    Yes yes yes

    Saw85-92 is 10/10

Saw Vol.II is amazing aswell, although you have to be in the right mindset to listen to it all the way through

I Care Because You Do might be my favourite album of his though. Alberto Balsalm is just too good.

Not sure when it was released but 26 Mixes For Cash has a couple of great tracks.

There's some "duo" called The Tuss or something and apparently it's him doing it, I checked "their" tracks out and wasnt really feeling them. The man is a genius but he can also release some pretty bad material.

Selected Ambient Volume One is Amazing ... favorite track on there has got to be 'Rhubarb Donkey' and 'X'...or at least I think that's what it's called. But most of the tracks on there are amazing...makes me feel like i'm on another planet with alien lifeforms springing up from every direction. All friendly aliens of course hahah....but I also enjoy some of his other tracks like...'Boy-Girl Song' , 'Milkman's Wife', 'Come to Daddy','Windowlicker', and that strange teddy bear song. Although I think for the last three, the music videos really helped to bring them through for me haha.

    Fenix Funk 5

If you checked one of the many 'official' Tuss myspace accounts you may think it's a joke. Probably because I think it is. There's about 8 accounts that I seen and they looked to have all been done by the same person(s) Because of this they put ther more joke tracks on there.

Check out RIP ACID. Just love the sound of that synth/sequencer. The lyrics are quite sick too! http://www.myspace.com/thetussmusic

I got the Tuss' Rushup Edge and it's very progressive and original and very Aphex Twin.

Love Selected Ambient Work to etc.
