So, how many of you at one point smoked both pot and cigs and quit smoking cigs. and had no problem smoking the green without wanting or having a cig? How long did it take you or did you wait to toke? I'm wondering because I quit smoking cigs. 16 days ago and havent smoked weed since but I'm going to today... hopefully I wont have any problems. Don't think I will cause I'm throughly disgusted with them and determined but ehh....
One time when I tried to quit smoking cigs, I went up to about 10 spliffs a day. Seeing as how you have done without both, I believe you will have no problem.
I know a guy who did what Red did...he said it took the edge off because at least he was smoking something. I wouldn't worry about it.
Well, I know one time I tried to quit smoking...made it like two days... then got really high and couldn't resist smoking cigs. and started up again. But I'm thinking 16 days is a bit longer then 2 days so it should be different....
do you get that urge for a cig right after you toke? I never did, so didnt' have a problem after I quit cigs.
well, that's gonna make it a bit trickier. you'll associate getting high with having a cig, like I do with beer and ciggies (I'm sure you've got that, too.) guess you're going to have to put your money on willpower, or hope your loathing of cigs will hold through after you smoke.
I have done that. The problem is that I only like cigarettes while on weed or another drug, so it was hard not to reach for a cig after getting stoned
I personally find cigarettes and other drugs to be inextricable. every drug I take these days gets me jonesin' for a smoke. especially ups and downs of any stripe, for me they are worthless without cigarettes.
when ever i try to quit smoking i always smoke a lot more pot then usual, since i am also addicted to the act of smoking smoking pot doesnt make me wanna smoke a cig. if i got weed then im cool.. but what do i know.. i have never stayed quit but you should be fine
