Donair's anyone? :P

    most people on other forums i asked had no idea what donairs were lol but i guess some people know them as "gyro's" anyways ive never eaten one ripped, but had my camera out today and figured i'd snap some pics of the chickeny goodness, this ones specifaclly called "super chicken" :p

    That looks good as hell, it is similar to a gyro, but not quite it.

    i guess its like middle-eastern type thing, there are actually a shit load of donair places in Vancouver and u can also get donairs or somthing similar at most greek places

    u can get chicken, beef, or falafell or a mix of them, there's a couple diff places i go to in Vancouver all are pretty fucking good and slightly different

    haha im going downtown to a smoking lounge and there's a bunch of donair places around there so i might have to get another for dinner lol!

    btw, im gonna take some good pics of this smoking lounge and post em up here tonight too

    hey, thought you may be interested....i was curious, so i looked it up.....

    donairs, shawarma, and gyros are all fairly similar.

    it just doesnt look a thing like what i know of as gyros is all....

    they're different styles of the same basic food though, and all can be made with various meats.

    ate those when i worked in germany... at some funky restaurant. it was tasty.

    and kebabs come in many, many, many forms. plus there are LOTS of similar foods from the mediteranean and the middle east which are very similar and get translated into the english language in different ways (tabouli, tabouleh)

    gyros are yummy. I made some like a month and a half ago. tsatziki sauce is awesome, but mine was stronger on the garlic then the ones at the greek restaurant i go to.

    ive never heard of any of them names but it looks alot like a big chicken wrap or like a cross between a wrap and a pasty. it definitely looks delicious whatever the name of it is LOL.

    Its called a kebab here..
    With Donair meat in it, or chicken kebab or so on.
