urgh that is awfull. I am sorry i am not trying to offend you . but all that shit on your hair makes your hair look greesy and your dreads dont look anything like dreads...they are just twisty bits of hair.

Go wash your hair and comb them out now!

Then get a mate to section off your hair and backcomb them into place :) Trust me, you will feel better for it!

I washed all the junk out in a big bucket w/ sum dr. bronners pepperment bar soap. The dreads stayed in, tho they are big and fluffy. I will post a picture later.

you can section again and back comb it,
or go natrual and just leave it.

    just wathever you like.
if you go for personal you should go natrual
if you want your dreadies to look tight you should backcomb.

    atleast thats my opinion ;)

    I am a she not a he :p

If they have stayed in fine after washing fair enough. From he picture it looked like they had just been twisted around not backcombed or owt, in which case i imagined they would instantly fall apart on washing.

I am glad you washed that gunk out

Here they are all washed and clean, I like them better =). The back ones look kinda messy and poofy (if thats a word) but they seem to be locked together nicely.

I did reback comb a couple on the top and when I shake them about they all stay together so I think thats a good sign. I appreciate the advice from all you dread heads on this forum =P.

Would it be better to sleep in like a satin(the cloth) sleeping cap or just let em loose?
Thanks again for all the advice.
