How can we totally avoid buying shit from china? I mean... ITS EVERYWERE.....I need to get some parts to upgrade my computer, Know anything thats made in the USA? if so I would like to know, cuz I ain't finding it. Whats worse is that our food is being imported from china more and more, and we all know there food quality standards SUCK. I wish I didn't live so far north... still gotta wait a while before the farmers markets open. I cant even remember the last time I bought something and it said made in the USA on it.... makes me sad that we cant make out own products.

so How do we boycott walmart (or any other corperation that doesn't support our own economy) when everything we buy and need is imported??? its hard to not buy imported stuff when thats all you can get. So where do I begin? Theres nothing I hate worse than buying chines crap that doesn't last, but that all there is, everywere I shop, it's made in china, even the small shops around here have mostly imported low quality junk. Doesn't boycott mean stop buying?

If anybody can answer this it would be helpful, I want a new mp3 player, anybody know of one thats made in the USA and has at least 2GB, FM radio, plays .ogg files, and possibly even SDHC card expansion? Thought about a Sansa because I can put RockBox on it, but arn't those made in china?

There. If you really want to be antiwalmart, then go ahead and do it nobody is going to stop you. What about mothernature.com? For all of your cosmetics, and housing things, and whatnot.. what about.. soul-flower.com? For clothing? I mean there are tons and tons of options it's just a matter of doing them. If you don't want to do that then maybe you should start making your own..
My idea was to start a small store with AFFORDABLE handmade products, and I mean everything, everything made and designed and created, without China, or taiwan or whatever, of course, in the usa, where it wasn't made by 8 year old children. If we could start actual warehouses IN usa, one like walmart, how many people could actually have jobs to go to everyday? BUT WE CANT ALWAYS DO THAT.

We can't afford a million dollars for a piece of commercial real estate as big as walmart. And we can't afford the materials it would take to create every product. But if we could, that would be a truly amazing thing for the country itself.

I think the best bet would for people to go back to wood stoves and keresene lamps, and candles, and whatever. Save a bit on electricity, stop supporting the massive companys everyone is against.

If you don't want to go to walmart, don't. But if you're actually going to make a stand and make a difference, then you might as well go all the way.

i have not been in a wal-mart in almost 15 years. their store's look quite ratty! i shop at target; which is "somewhat better." wal-mart treats everyone like shit! there is no reason anyone should be treated with indigity! most businesses are run by some really sick fucks, who only care for themselves and fuck everyone else. we call these people competiors and winners. well, i don't! i call them... sick fucks. i'm quite sure adam smith is turning over in his grave, at what capitalism has become! he even warned, that if capitalism degenrated into what we have today, it would become a doomsday machine that would destory a whole nation. in our world today, it will turn all of the earth into a wastland!
