Is this a good way to do it?

okay, first off I am gonna start growing in a day or two. I plan to get about 3-6 jars out of the garage (small ones), fill them up with dirt from the yard, plant 1-2 seeds in each jar, sit the jars on the window sill in my room behind the curtains (live with parents, im 15) im hiding them behind the curtains so my parents dont find them. As soon as they sprout ill let them grow acouple inches, then ill take them to some woods somewhere, find a good spot, and transfer them into the ground to let them finish there job.

I need to know this, will this work? If not, any better ideas?
