i have been trying for several days now to make jump drive bootable. with no luck there, my goal was to make a bootable network disk so that i can install win xp from a share. i have been scouring google and several websites but i cant find anything that has produced results. anyone have any advice/experience with this.
I have a 4GB USB flash drive that I made bootable. Is that what you are trying to do? Currently, it boots NetBSD 4.0, but I could install prety much anything on it. You have to re-partition the flash drive with fdisk (I did mine with fdisk in Linux) and add the bootable flag. Then add the boot files you need and then drivers and stuff.
