it's a figure eight with a dot (nucleus) in one side. the side with the dot is broken-the line splits open, appearing as if the nucleus is exiting.
well you know a broken figure 8 lying on its side used to be, maybe still is, a symbol for infinity. so it could be saying that this universe, or where we live in it, is not a closed system after all, but entirely open ended, or at least that life, or awairness, where awairness lives in it, is. you could interpret that too as saying maybe that awairness is a thing that is open ended. certainly it cannot be exclusive to one life form on one world. it is an interesting coexistence that the topology of the double helix resembles that in some ways. presumably you know about the topology of the mobious, which is also i think, one of the origens of the 8 on its side as a symbol for infinity. anyway, you know its not actually joined or touching in the middle of the 8 where they cross. i only looks that way from the side its represented as being shown, so really, what you have by on 'side' being open, is the whole thing is open ended, which of course also repesents that infinity itself is of neccessity open ended. after all if it were not, then it would be finite, and being finite would therefor not be in finite. the nucleus or sun or nipple or galaxy or whatever sort of centralised thing you might want to think of as that representing, is also thus not confined entirely, even if it may appear to be surrounded on many sides and perhapse in impossibly complex seeming ways. i guess its open ended too, what someone could read into something like that, but that ought to give you some general idea about what could be going on there. or what i'd be seeing from what you describe. =^^= .../\...
