So, I stsrted to try to make stuff out of hemp today cuz it ggot cold and wet outside and i was bored. But anyways, when you just use the four cords the stuff is really thin. How would i make it thicker? Do i just use more strands or a thicker cord? Any ideas?

more strands in the center. you could add to the outside strands, but it would be hard to keep track of. since the knots are tied around the center strands, adding more will make it thicker.

well, if you're macrameing you could use thicker hemp like jute. I'd vote for the thicker string as opposed to more strings in the middle.

Ya, the snow sucked. we lit a fire and just chilled at the apartment. SO its not how many are on the outsied and all, but how many strings are in the middle?
