Anyone ever heard/tried this? Its tobacco that you snort basically. My friend got me into it. I had two full tins of it late last year and little bits that my friends have given me. I took a break from it for a while and bought my third tin this week just because I thought it would be nice to try it again. Know its not something I buy regularily at all, but when I do have a tin I do have it a fair lot. I'm quite a paranoid person and the other day i started feeling like a swolen type feeling(although not really bad swolen, I dont even know if it does properly feel like that im just rubbish at explaining stuff) near the top of the left side of my mouth and feels like its connected to my left nose. Now I might be exagerating on the swolen feeling its just I cant think of any other way to describe it. Is it nothing because im paranoid it might be cancer or some shit. Its not like ive done this stuff loads and loads...
i've only heard of snuff films where a citizen is killed for the sake of making a profit to the film makers... and havent tried it
I didn't know anybody still made snorting snuff. That was the orgininal type and the origin of the name. It was tobacco that you "snuffed". It was popular in Europe a few hundred years ago. King Louis XIV of France is said to have snorted something like 7 pounds of it a week. The only type of snuff I've seen is the modern dipping kind, which you place in your lower lip. It's moist and the grains pack together so it doesn't work very well for the original purpose of snuffing. The answer your query, I don't think you have cancer. You don't get cancer from a mere 3 tins of tobacco. You have to do it chronically for years before it becomes a potential cancer risk. It sounds more like inflammation of the oral tissue. Tobacco is a rather abrasive substance and irritates the more senisitve tissues like the ones in your mouth (and nose if you're doing it the original way). That irritation causes the tissues to swell. Just stop doing it for a while and the swelling will go away. But keep in mind it will probably start again if you pick up the habit again.
