    I have never had dreadlocks and I dont know how to get them really. I know a little bit about the anti residue shampoos and backcombing but i really dont know how to do any of it. could you give any advice on how to dreadlock, what to expect and anything else you think i should know?

    also, how much longer should i let my hair get before i do it. this is my hair now:

    ok with a face like that i dunno you might want reaklly really crazy dreads
    basicly read the threads here all questions have been asked over and over and answered but ok
    wash with residue free
    backcomb if u want but u dont gotta
    let it be

    its a lil short but mine washnt much longer when i started

    sit around and wait
    dont hide your face
    you'll look crazy awhile but who cares
    if u do
    dreads might not be for you
