What is your opinion on wearing a veil (or your S/O wearing one) for your wedding?

No veil for me. I dont see the real point. Plus you want everyone to see your beautiful face.

Veil, because it looks so elegant when it matches the dress and hits your shoulders. Dunno.

Veil, because I'm going to go pretty traditional for my wedding.

I think i'd feel retarded with a veil. Like I need to rip that stupid thing in front of my face off so i can see my man.

with that said....I still might wear one. A really simple, small, non-annoying one.

I'm making my own. A wreath of little purple flowers, with three strips of thin gauzey purple material as the "veil". But I'm not going to have it covering my face, just more like a head dress sort of thing.

The one I am looking at is short and only has one piece of fabric. It hits right below on the shoulders and the top attahes to the bridal comb I am getting. Picture attached.

Heheh, I'm loving lynsey's wedding threads as well :D Makes me want to come crash your wedding...

Anyhoo, your veil sounds lovely. I don't think I'll wear one in our wedding as I want my hair to just be its usual self, long and flowy. Anyhoo... with your dress, I'm not sure you really need a veil but if it looks right and you like it, then go for it!
