baking soda as base in dmt extraction?

    i know that it's a salt, so it should be water soluble. is this good or bad?

    you'd be better off using a salt with OH- ions, CO3- doesn't have sufficient [low pKb] dissociation in water.

    baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is not basic enough for a dmt extraction,
    But, if you heat it (ie bake the baking soda in the oven at a certain temperature), then it will turn into sodium carbonate which is more basic and will work.
