haha ive been addicted for over 2 years, smoking half a pack a day, and its been 3 days since i havent touched a cigg. dont plan to in the near future either.
i actually cant believe how easy and totally worth it it was, like i have no idea why ppl moan about it so much.

I think it supposed to get worse, and 3 days isn't considered quitting. It does look like your are on your way though, congrats.

nah thats it im sure. i wanted to quit for 2 weeks, but the availability made it hard. last 3 days ive been really busy, and when wanted a cig made myself busy again. now i still slightly crave a smoke, but thats it. < also lol, my excuse back then was that i enjoy it, now im thinking of how disgusting it is. seriously ciggs are a fukt up thing, and you only defend them if ur addicted :|

good job, if you ever feel a huge urge to smoke one, try smoking a joint instead. some experts say that not only is the nicotine addictive, smoking in general can be addictive (probably cause its so much fun) :) anyway congrats. alot of people say that after quitting they start getting dreams of smoking a cig :/

i got drunk and smoked about 10 cigarettes right now. i have this horrible after taste in my throat and right now the smell of cigarettes would probably make me barf. usually i just bum them from people at partys so i wouldn't consider myself addicted.

well i dont know, its like this hunger. you know sometimes you really really want a special food, and when you get it - you get that extreme satisfaction. only diff, i know the satisfaction will lead to me being pissed off etc, so i just dont think about it.

seriously, i have goals. i want to get in shape for summer, and i need my voice/lungs if im ever to become a back up vocalist. so nomatter how badly i will want to smoke, i cant - because its not worth it. seriously today i had so much energy, and even intheb4 the 2nd day without nicotine made me so happy with myself (pissed off at everyone else tho).

and considering all it involves is not doing something, lol its an easy upgrade xD

The physical addiction is just stronger with most people. Good job giving them up.

thats good that you quit smoking man i have never understood how people can get addicted to them things they are so disgusting. i really cant imagine how people thought that they didnt harm your health when they first were marketed. i mean its common sense that smoke would damage your lungs even marijuana isnt harmless in that aspect.

I doubt you were seriously addicted for 2 years, since you were only in 8th grade 2 years ago (if your 16 now). Unless your parents gave them to you, i doubt you smoked a half a pack day, while going to school and so on. But i really dont find cigarettes too addicting, ive smoked them on and off for like 1.5 - 2 years, and some taste good for a while but most always taste shity.

I've been smoking for a year and a half (i was in 9th grade last year though when iwas 14)
    i smoke half a pack a day.
it's easy, people at my school go out for cigarette breaks between class and no one does shit.

    but anyway,
    good job on quititng.
if i don't have a cigarette for a day I get really shaky and pissy.
