i guess it used to be a stereotypically female occupation....men who cooked were looked down upon, as less than absolutely rugged and manly... i dont get it. its not like you cook with your genitals. why couldnt a man cook? i dont see the difference. i grew up in a home where both parents worked outside of the house and both shared more or less equally in domestic chores and duties. when we were really little, my parents would switch it up....one would cook and do the dishes, one would give the kids their baths. my dad cooked us dinner as often as my mother did. i guess some people still have their mother cook and thats it....dont really expect a man to be able to adequately feed his family. its sexist!
I just found at this last week that I've been allergic to egg protein my whole life! It's a bitch to cut out everything with egg in it, but omg I feel wonderful! :hurray:
as a very small child i would eat all sorts of things i wasnt supposed to. my mother would call the doctor, and half the time she'd be instructed to simply induce vomitting by feeding me raw eggs and i'd be alright after that. it worked alright, but to this day i can't eat eggs. if they're used in cooking something like a cake or something like that, thats ok, but i can't eat eggs....not fried, scrambled, boiled, deviled, nothing. not on a salad, not a sandwich, no egg salad. nothing. eggs are SO gross!!!!
Right on !!!! Yeah, why wouldnt men cook ? I am fine with my men wanting to cook :H My dad would probably starve if he ever lived alone. He is a typical man - expects my mama to do everything. So when I get married ( if I get married ) , we're gonna share the tasks. Equally.

i dont know. what did he defend?? my name is very old, i've been going by nesta on various boards for about the last 9 years or so, slightly before i came to the forums here. at the time i chose it, i was obsessed with bob marley. rather, the honorable robert nesta marley, O.M. nesta is a name wich allegedly means messenger (read it somewhere) i picked it for dumb reasons, but liked the name. stuck with it for a long time.
got it. whats a central defender? forgive me, i know nothing about any sports. i've never seen an entire game of (american) football, never seen more than one or two baseball games, never seen more than one or two soccer/football games....and i couldnt tell you anything about any positions or rules of any of these games at all, either. sports never interested me even a little bit. oh! i do know the goalkeeper or whatever you call him is the only one that can touch the ball with his hands but i might be wrong....
Hahaha..No, the goalkeeper is the only one that can touch the ball with his hands...You got that right. The defender tries to prevent the other team from scoring. And the central defender plays in a central position, mostly stationed in front of the goalkeeper. Ah football is boring. I can make the best hot chocolate ever!!!! Does that count as cooking ?
