So, I have recently come across a major problem. I am on a large area of land, but on the other side of part of a forested area, there are a few cow pastures. I have found good organic ways of deterring deer, rabbits, insects, etc. However, I have now had a brand new problem come up. One of the pastures had some damage to the fencing, and there are many trees that are damaged and still falling over preventing completiong of repairs for a while. So, the cows occasionally, especially when it storms and startles them, get loose and wonder around for a while. Well, apparently, they have a thing for destroying healthy, beautiful, just starting to flower, Indicas. This makes me upset, because there were some really nice early season plants, most of which were trampled, eaten, and completely shredded to nothing, pieces of nice flowering buds everywhere. I can not put up any sort of heavy duty fencing around them, obviously. So, does anyone know of anything that may help as a deterant to cows. If they were to do the same to my hybrids and sativas, which are just now starting to hit the point where they are just growing so fast and turning into beautiful little trees, I would be devistated and would have to reconsider being vegetarian for a minute out of being really pissed at those cows.
dog, wolf or wildcat urine in the area. worth a shot, but most cows are dumb enough I don't know if they'd recognize a fresh 'predator sign'
