I used to play ultimate so much that it was like a part-time job. I was real good at it, I had mastered all the throws to the point where I could send the disk to any spot on the feild with any number of different throws, even while guarded. Then three years ago I was in an accident serious enough to put my good arm out of commission permanently. It's been slow to get the old hobbies back, teaching my left arm what it never needed to know. So I just recently started playing ultimate again on the other side of the country and its awful. People keep making comments like, "first time out?", and giving me elementary level advice and shit. Then when I do something right they congradulate me like you'd congradulate a child who learns to recite all seven continents. I just want to tell them, "look at my fucking right arm you jackass! Three years ago I could have owned you". But that's my ego goin again. I'm determined to get back where I was before and put these fuckers in their place.
i love frisbee.. guess there is an ultimate frisbee game every tuesday? behind the campus here.. i'm not that good either.. with my right arm.. i throw like a girl.
