I like red wine. A friend of mine told me to get some white ziffindale (however you spell it), and it was pretty good....but it was still missing something

The only wine that offers health benefits is red wine. Cleans out the arteries.

We prefer a good Italian red. Not too dry. Chianti is preferred. 13.5% alcohol on average.

I avoid white wine and blushes and zinefidels.

I have wine every day before supper.

actually, new studies (wish i could cite) show that daily moderate alcohol consumption (of any type, beer, spirites, wine) is beneficial for cognitive activity. the "redness" in red wine is full of antioxidants which make it beneficial for cardiovascualar health

That's about right, there buddy. I went into a liquor store with a used bottle of Chimay, about the best beer you can get, because I appreciate good beer, but good wine is a ripoff. They didn't carry the Chimay, but they found it in their book and they were surprised that I would pay $10 for a bottle of beer. But there are wine snobs out there that will pay more for a bottle of wine than the current KBB value of my 7 year old acura. Not a bad car, not a great car, though. But still, I don't get it.

But, wine, I do love it. I love a good Foxhorn Chardonnay. $8 for a 1.5 litre of good quality, high potency grape juice. And it's got a screw cap so you don't have to fight with the cork. What innovators!!!!!

I love Larry the cable guy. There's one bit where he is complaining about the price of gas. He says "Goddamn, you know gas is about to be $3 a gallon. Shit, I wouldn't pay $3 a gallon for wine!!" I'm lucky if I can get a 750mL for $3. So, I'm thinking "Where the hell do you shop that you can get wine for three dollars a gallon???!!?!?!? Tell me Please!!." Actually, I bought a box of Claret in Sydney, Australia that was undrinkable, but that is the only time that has happened.

Rock on with the cheap and nasties!!!!

Yellow Tail is retty cheap for 1.5ml. Papio is also a good "economical" wine. And any of the Lindeman's. It'll say "Bin (some number)" . Haven't had one that wasnt good (and it wont break the bank!)

We drink alot of wine over here. I prefer a Red, but a Rose is a close second.

My FIL bottles his own wine, it comes out to be $4.00 a bottle. The Pinot Noir is Awesome! Tastes even better when we get it for free [IMG]

A few bottles of red wine a day keeps everything bad away. During my rash and youthful days I experimented up and down the spectre, but red wine, for me, has character and a certain intensity others lack.
Strangely enough, I've never grown used to expensive wines and have my complete confidence in old humble-priced friends that always do the trick. :)

It has to be homemade for me. Dandelion, grape, blackberry, whatever.

I hate wine. Can't understand why people drink it. Also, Red Wine gives you the worst hangover....

Wine makes you fine, you get used to the taste, you have to drink it quite often to appreciate the taste :) don't get too many bad hangovers, well only after 2 bottles

Rhine wine is pretty bad ass. One of my favorites for sure. Nice and smooth/sweet without overwhelming the taste buds.

My mom saves a shit load of wine for this time of the season.
