Ever notice how the Stones were just a bad boy copy of the Beatles?
The Beatles came out with Sgt. Peppers and then the Stones came out with TSMR.
The Beatles came out with Baby’s in Black and the Stones came out with Paint it Black.
The Beatles came out with Let It Be and the Stones came out with Let It Bleed.

Yes the Beatles are the friends you smoked Grass with and took home for your parents to meet. The Stones are the friends you smoked Crack with and hid from your parents.

That having been said I like the Beatles better but the Stones are still a guilty pleasure.

Yah, the Beatles came out with a confessional pop song, and Keith Richards wrote one of the most recognizable guitar riffs in history. The Beatles made a hodge podge collection of songs, with a slight folky feel to them , and the Stones released one of the best, most original Blues-Rock albums ever.

Definately , the Beatles. Love their music(unless it's being sung by American idol contestants.I'm sorry but, that whole thing made me ill.I wanted to cry! Horrifying. I do enjoy many Rolloing Stones tunes ,but only their earliest stuff. They got weird in the 80's("she's so cold"-ewwww). The Beatles had so many great tunes plus,I enjoyed all their solo work!

The Beatles made some excellent music in their time, but their beatle career was short-lived, plus they all were successful in solo careers.
The Rolling Stones also have excellent music, and Mick Jagger is an awesome front man. They still tour even though their super old, and still do a damn good job at what they always did.

I love both bands, but I'm gonna have to say I like The Stones better.

But I wasn't judging them...I was pointing out how ridiculous the statement I responded to was.

    Please, do elucidate!

What statement were you responding to?

    What "confessional pop song"?

What "most recognizable guitar riffs in history"?

The Beatles made a hodge podge collection of songs, with a slight folky feel to them; which album are you talking about or are you talking about the entire Beatles song collection?

The Stones released one of the best, most original Blues-Rock albums ever and what Album is this?

Seeing as it is right above my post I assumed it would be obvious...Let It Be and Baby's In Black.
