I do remember GW Bush raving about entrepreneurship to a dignitary in France and then asking him if there was a word in French for 'entrepreneur.'

When Dan Quayle was vice president, he made a trip to Brazil. Upon his return he said he wished he would have takein Latin in college so he could understand the people there. Duh......

PS.. Im old, I remember when IKE was president.

 

Hard to imagine what a presidential ticket of GW Bush and Quayle would be like.

MOST of my life we did not have quite the SAME crap as we have now.
UNfortunately, and it IS horrendously worse this last six or seven years then anything since nixxon, all though raygun basicly laid the groundwork of given economic intrests an end run arround constitutional protections of the political proccess.

i was born even before isenhour was elected. and i was kennidy i rooted for when i was almost but not quite old enough to vote.

but one thing i am truelly bitter about, is that at no time in my life that i know of, has america ever not had a policy of demonizing everything that refuses to kiss the ass of little green pieces of paper, though it hasn't always mass murdered the civilians of any nation that refused to kiss its own. not always. but the bushwacker isn't the first by a long shot to do so.

i do just so wish people would wake up and not need a bush rubbed in their face to realize and understand the inhierent and indemic malpheasance of pseudo-conservatism.

I was outraged at that ass nixon.Same with reagen.But this administration is the absolute worst.Anyone that votes libertarian or republican is voting against their own interests.Isn't it obvious by now that these people care about nothing but enriching themselves.At our expense.Human life means nothing to these "humans".

My wife says Bush is the worst president ever. I disagree; Millard Fillmore supported the Fugitive Slave Act and later ran on the Know-Nothing ticket (thereby exhibiting more intellectual honesty than most people in the current administration). But Bush is next to worst in my book. A traitor to the Constitution if ever there was one.

 

At least President Clinton was an intellectual with a liberal outlook.Bush will be gone next year & it was all just a bad dream!.

There's been a Clinton or Bush in the White House for almost 28 years.

A person would have to be born around the mid 70s to be able to remember when they weren't in the White House.

If things go well for Hilary, it can be 36 years.

I remeber some of Clinton, but thats all. What kind of scares me is that I only remeber two president, only voted once, and I'm already starting to lose faith in our political system. I hate Obama, I hate Hillary, I hate McCain. The only good canidates dropped out, except for Ron Paul. I do like Obama more then Hillary and McCain, but still i just dont feel like he or anyone else is going to end this fucking war. It's like The Who put it in 'Won't get fooled again', "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."

Edit: Sorry I got distracted from the OPs question. I kinda remember Bill but I remember the how scandal more than his politics. However I am 22 so I was what 14-15 when Bush took office.

 

Don't kid yourselves.

Washington has been controlled by the same people for a hundred years. Presidents come and go, these people don't.

The upcoming election isn't going to do anything other than change the talking head to a newer model.
