i also love to listen to perpetual groove and phish and stuff like that when im baked.

Sublime is my all time favorite stoner music! If not sublime maybe a little techno like bass hunter or dj icey. I usually dont like rap but if im in the mood I might throw in some lil wayne.

 

I love pink Floyd, and all kinds of 80's music. Also classical.

 

I'm just starting to come down and listening to some Etta James - At Last...and im totally loving it.

 

Phish, String Cheese Incident, Rusted Root, Modest Mouse. And for some reason The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

For me the songs that sound best high are usually the ones that take you by complete suprise. Like I was listening to a mix cd and "I'm Just A Singer In A Rock n Roll Band" by The Moody Blues came on. I probably wouldn't have put it on intentionally, so I was really suprised at how intense it was.

Phish (the HIGH band...I mean c'mon), Talking Heads, Grateful Dead (duh), the Beatles (suprised no ones mentioned them), the Doors, Of Montreal, My Bloody Valentine, Adam Green (NO ONE KNOWS HIM...HOLY SHIT...IT'S MADE TO BE LISTENED TO HIGH), Perpetual Groove, Sublime, Pink Floyd, Jurrasic 5, the Byrds (Eight Miles High by them obviously emulates being, well, extremely high...it's fucking perfect, check it out pronto!)


Yeah it's a bit weird and varied...but you know how weed makes you have bizzare cravings hahah.

my favourite songs to listen to when im super high are no diggity by blackstreet. its funkdoobiest by funkdoobiest. o and listen to it ain't easy by 2pac, the beat is buzzy as fuck. or hold ya head by notorious is cool.

or if ur not into hip-hop try black sabbath, the clash, pink floyd etc.

For me it all changes.... at one time, its the Dead, Phish, etc.... then I get tired of it, and switch to Buddha Bar, Cafe De Mar, Thevory, etc.... it depends.

 

something maaad chilled out like spyro gyra or jack johnson or james taylor cuz u wana be chilled when your smoking but if im in a little more jumpy kind of mood nothing beats the police or some bob marley

 

im starting to get into daft punk again. I have yet to smoke to their music but im going to tonight probably. if i get any weed. i havent been able to get any cause all the people i usually get it from like to bullshit around, or they charge too much.

Yes! This is one of the best rock albums ever made and I fucking lost it. For me it all begins and ends with Umphrey's McGee. Maybe it's just me but when I trip I love listening to symphonies... they're so complex.

 

I love some good funk music when I'm high.
It just sets the high to a nice pleasant area.
It brings you to where the grass is in fact greener.
the greenest grass you have ever and will ever be on.
but hey, thats just me.
