Alright heres my experiance (Keep in mind this is when you ARE or GET high before you go to sleep): I dont seem to do well with sleepin while baked, i try like every night but i dont sleep well and the next morning i feel like shit. It feels like i was up all night and the after effects of bein high are there, head hurts, slow reaction time, tired and very spaced out thoughts. But none of the GOOD stuff like being relaxed, just really fucked up. My friend said this used to happen to him but after a while it stopped happening, doesnt seem to be getting better for me although he has smoked longer then me. Im wondering if anybody else has the same type of thing, and if theres anything to be done about it. I need mental clarity in the morning for work, it usualy catches up with me about lunch, but for the first few hours i feel like shit. Im sure theres nothing you can do, but would be nice!
usualy i sleep great when i get high, like best sleep ever. but if iv smoked a LOT the night before like 5 joints or more with friends i feel pretty slow the next morning, just bad reaction time and some times i cant think totaly strait. i usualy dont feel realy shitty like a hang over from drinking though
I should add that you have to be pretty decently high, not just a light buzz. If i have a little buzz i sleep pretty much fine.
Blown, baked, or buzzed I sleep amazing when high. It actually helps my sleep problem, plus its just so relaxing, I don't even jack it every time when I'm high anymore. I know what you mean though about the hangover thing, I get the same stuff just don't feel like shit, but I'm slow, a bit groggy. It used to be where I couldn't smoke and then go to school the next day so I started drinking those 5 hour energy things in the morning, helped alot. Today though I forgot to buy it, but I still managed to make it to school. I suggest you drink some coffee of an energy drink in the morning, it makes me real relaxed along with the after effects of being high the night before, puts me in a good mood.
I have no Idea if this applies to you but this is what my problem was. I would smoke the night before then set my alarm for 630 am but as long as I was out of bed by 715 I would have plenty of time to do my morning routine and make it to work in time. So what I would end up doing is my alarm would go off at 630 and I would hit the snooze button till 715. Now I set my alarm for 715 and just get up then. The extra 45 min of uninterrupted sleep made me feel a TON better.
interesting ive always wanted to try that 5 hour energy stuff. i have a bad habit of not eating anything in the morning because im so tired i dont want to do anything, it probly doesnt help.
i know what your talking about. happens to me alot and im sure it happens to most people after they get totally ripped the night before. just drink some coffee or an energy drink in the morning and youll feel better.
Nah I've never had hang over on weed alone. If I drink and smoke then I seem to have a slightly harsher hang over though.
dunno if it's a weed hangover, but i've heard from many sources that weed can sometimes keep you from entering r.e.m. sleep. (which is what you need to feel refreshed) now, this is just a guess, and everyones different so i dunno. myself, i used to feel like that, until i smoked heavy. now it's not such a problem. sometimes i do smoke close to bedtime, w/o any major "hangover" effects, BUT if i've been smoking regulary lately, i can't sleep w/o it. so i think it all depends on how much you regularly smoke. but all in all, i think a sober sleep is best regardless. (if you're all cleaned out)
I don't think this has to do with weed, because I've never had this happen from just weed. Sometimes after a night of drinking but that's different. Make sure you are drinking enough water so you are hydrated while sleeping. Maybe even pop a couple of Motrin or Advil before you go to bed too. Also, if you are smoking schwag or low quality mids then I can see this happening. So maybe you just need to buy better bud.

I get this sometimes too. I think its pretty normal. Like they said, try to have some coffe before you go to school or work. Haha, not much of a help but just wanted to tell you people get it commonly
i've been smoking for 7 years and if i smoke like an eighth between 3 people in one night and go to sleep within like 2 hours of smoking, 75% of the time i will wake up with a headache and feel "slow" in the morning i think if u smoke early on in the day though u wont get it, especially if u eat and drink and be active before going to sleep
i have noticed it with shitty weed... but when i get baked right before bed... shit.. im planted.. it takes me forever to wanna get up in the mornin...
I believe that sleep changes your metabolism in such a way that your body doesn't process tetra-hyrda cannabinal effectively. As a result, if you go to sleep high, you'll still feel that sort of "burnt-out" feeling when you wake up. However, there have been a few times when I've smoked some super dank chronic (and this is only a few, and that shit was always some fuckin' bomb ganj) that I actually woke up with completely bloodshot eyes, a raging headache and an overall cloud of shittiness that could only be described as a hangover. So not often, but sometimes.
ive never noticed having a hangover the next day from smoking. although usually when i smoke its usually before i go to bed so im usually always high when i go to sleep. being high when i go to sleep it seems like i fall asleep so much faster and sleep sounder. i always have a hard time waking up even if i dont smoke. it seems like i can never get a full 8 hours of sleep in without having to wake up and go somewhere.
i have an excellent sleep when i smoke before, but sometimes i do feel a bit shitty in the mornings i just woke up, smoked a lot last night, and now i feel kinda shitty and tired i'm gonna go back to bed here soon
