Turbo Lighter and Aluminum bowls.

I just ordered a turbo lighter and i read somwhere you can weld metal with it, doues this mean that if i use with a pipe that has an aluminum foil bowl, that the foil will melt or vaporize... im prity sure that the tubo lighter has a flame heat of 1300 degrees or somthing like that if that helps.

 

If it's powerful enough to weld metal then it'll probably burn through the foil like it's nothing.

It would probably be a good idea not to use that lighter for any bowl, actually. I'm pretty sure the flame is so hot it would actually make you lose some of what you're smoking.. making it a waste.

 

doesn't mean you shouldn't video tape yourself trying though.

 

it can actuallt make healthier smoke if you have a glass bowl because it gets so hot that some of your weed will vaporize before the lighter gets to it

 

Right, but you'd have to remove the lighter at that point to avoid sparking the bowl which is sorta unrealistic.

When you smoke, it is only the vapor that gets you high. THC is destroyed by fire. It's the cannabinoids near the flame that get vaporized.

 

If its a butane lighter it can def burn/melt tinfoil. We used one to start the coal on a hookah a couple weeks back and were amazed at the fact that we could melt foil and make little melted foil balls.

 

Then you'd still be inhaling the smoke, making it just as unhealthy as any other bowl. The only reason real vaporizing is healthier is because it doesn't have smoke.
