getting rid of smoky smell in rooms

    I tried ozium lysol, air purifier etc - anything out there that gets rid of smoke smell quickly?

    i use lysol too. i dont know of things that get rid of it quickly, but u can always mask it with incense or a bag of popcorn.

    yep i can mask it but it comes back - might do some more research thanks

    It's probably in the curtains or drapes, carpet, or worse yet...the central heating / cooling unit.

    Think physical/mechanical, a fan directed air current. Purifiers and ionizers work but take a while. Any chemical cover/neutralizer is best applied simutaneous with the offending oderant, such as a highly scented aroma candle, incense, or febreze. And follow with some additional neutralizer.

    I just use air purifier, and open two windows or so.

    If it won't go away, try washing some of the things in the room. Like if it's your bedroom try washing your sheets, etc. Living rooms try cleaning the curtains somehow, and beat out the pillows.

    I've got a HEPA filter, a fan in the window and occasionally use ozium. The fan in the window is the best thing to do. Send the smoke the hell out of the house . . .
