The Morning Show "Salvia"

Well guys, I did the best I could with what time I had. The producers did a 180 on me telling me what I can say and what i can't. I'm sure they edited alot of what I had to say, but basically the show was about 80% bullshit. Mike and Juliet do not represent the people and I should have known that FOX news wasn't to be trusted. The Dr. on the show was such a liar, he stated facts the were totally opposite backstage and the guy from Wonderland rehab was such a fucking hypocrite it was amazing. The 2 guys who had made videos did agree that putting videos on youtube were a bad idea and agreed to take them off anf to encourage others to do so. I also had a chance to speak with Brett's(suicide) family, we had our own personal talk backstage away from the show and we got somethings off our backs, but it was productive. I think when they saw that a reatiler and advocate wasn't some thug or uneducated person it put a little perspective the current professionalism of the salvia community. I contact Daniel Siebert to help but he didn't return any communication. What a leader from someone who brought Salvia out into its current light. Thank's DAN! Although i was trashed on TV, I don't regret going because then there would have been NO voice to defend it and Salvia would have no chance. But I said what I could and what pisses me off is the mind-less drones of an audience, these guys in the seats would not react unless the show advisors tell them to, and whenver they wanted to paint me the "evil" tehy would pump them up. Funny thing was 99% of the audience were upper middle class caucasians, no ehtincity diversity at all. It was like being in a hung jury down south. But again I tried my best and if anyone has access to a show where I can come out with more than 7-10 minutes where I can debate the doctor and the rehab center guy I would love the chance. P.S. the wonderland rehab guys was very ballsy (since he was tele-conferenced) to call me a "Drug Dealer" on air, I'm glad he did though because my attorney just filed a "Defamation of Charachter" suit against him and the courier should reach him tommorrow, he he. Anyways what was on the show is totally opposite form what was said backstage. We knew it was going to be like this and I knew I was going into the lions den, but I didn't fear this expectation. We need the to join together or else Salvia will be pulled away from us, I still need to know that we have eachothers back and are willing to fight for this. Post to this if you fell the same way I hope that many of you can help.

I just watched it, and it's complete sensationalist garbage. You did a good job though. It seemed that everytime you were close to making a point something clicked in that bitches head that said "Oh Christ, he's being extremely rational and telling an inspiring story, better cut him off." Better luck next time

Hey, where can i get a link to the show online. I cant find it on their website and I was at school when it aired. But i would really like to see it. I'm glad that you went and supported the cause. I thank you for what you did, i sure as hell wouldnt have been able to do it.

I don't know if it's in its entirety, so I guess we both missed some of their slanderous bullshit. I'm trying to get the doctor's e-mail because I really am interested in seeing his sources/statistics of people needing salvia rehabilitation.

 

Kalizhada, your a truely inspiring person. Let me say that I have no respect for either of the doctors on the show, and that you and the guy next to you in the striped shirt, had the real truth, the real things to say. I just don't understand how your opposition could make a case for outlawing something that occurs naturally as a plant, and has been used for thousands of years. I have not tried Salvia yet, but I plan to in the near future, and when I do I will make sure I am fully educated, and responsible with my use, and will be using it for the correct reason. as I am with any other substance. And the points about the risks of Salvia were plain BS. People have to know when to be responsible and not keep blaming their problems on the drugs themselves. Anyone who is depressed or has mental issues should never be messing with drugs. Anyone who has commited suicide after using salvia mearly endangered themselves for using it in the first place with their condition. It isn't the plants fault, it was there own sheer stupidity.


Again, thank you for doing this, getting the word out. I will be supportive in this fight every step of the way.

 

Damn right bro! I'm glad you had the guts to go on, you knew that it was going to be a witch hunt and you went in there and held strong. You could tell they were trying to piss you off but you stayed cool. You even tried to keep that college kids cool too, my hats off to you bro! This is my first post here. I'm more of a lurker, but I registered to thank you, Kalizhada. I haven't tried salvia yet, but I'm glad someone is fighting to keep it legal so I have a chance at it when I'm ready.

 

Wow, Just watched the clip and all i got to say is WOW! That was utter shit. They Didnt hardly let you get a word out and when you were saying something people just jumped in and interrupted you.

do you know we did over a few takes because we couldn't say certain things. I was told backstage I couldn't make certain arguement points, they wanted me to ACT like if I was all about spiritualism and not facts. I chose to let them play there game as it was obvious they were trying to purposely aggrivate me, luckily I had my salvia in the morning to help me keep my cool. There is a talk show that wants to dedicate a full show on the subject with the pro arguement on salvia, and has asked me to come on and be the advocate. This show will not feature a debate and will be dedicated fully on herbal remedies. Plus they will let me slander FOX news and the Wornderland jerk who called me a "Drug Dealer" but this is early notice for the show. I wanted to keep the guy next to me cool becuae it was a total hung jury, but he brought some good passion that was misconstrued. The crowd, jeez what lemmings, following the Fox pied piper to the edge of the cliff, mindless drones. Oh well this is the first of the salvia awareness tour, we have gotten a lot of feedback and in todays current age information is power and I need all of you to keep bringing your stories of salvia benefit so I can present this to Congress when the issue comes up.

Well done Kali, you did what you could and I respect you for that. I believe that people just aren't "ready" yet for Salvia but I have a positive feeling about this... it will change in the future.

 

You shouldn't have went on in the first place. It was obvious that was all going to happen, and they would silence you. If I were you I would have left after they told me theres things I can and can't say, that's such a ridiculous thing to tell someone. Them silencing your freedom of speech is way wrong, and they only did that to make you look like a fool and play their game...which you did.

I'm all for salvia being legal and fighting for good causes, but I don't think that helped salvias cause.

As i stated I knew what to expect but I wanted to do this anyway, any voice is better than NO voice. These talk shows are filled with fake people and I wanted to at least be there to have someone say 1 good thing about salvia. The general public can determine for themselves that the show was crucifying us, but we chose to do it regardless. That is the definition of standing up for yourself. And Elover, all I ever get out of you is negative comments, if thats the way you really feel don't bring your unpositive attitude onto my boat, you dig? I just got done watching the clip and I am really glad that you were there. If it wasn't for you, there wouldn't have been any truth told except for some from that guy to your left. The frat guy on the end sounded like a complete moron, saying it is funny to laugh at people under the influence, and comparing salvia's effect to alcohol intoxication not once, but twice. Did he not realize he was on national television and that his comments were destroying the credability of you and the other guy before you even got a chance to speak? He must have been a FOX plant, no one could be so stupid. The Wonderland guy lied when he said there have been MANY people who have committed suicide because of salvia. Someone should have called him on that, considering there was only the one Chidester case and that wasn't even directly related to salvia use. I would have told him he was living in wonderland, fucking fool! These FOX people get me sooo mad!

 

I just finished watching the whole show, I tivo'd it. That just made me mad to watch, there was so many general things being said, that teens could just go buy salvia in headshops, when you actually need to be 18 to even enter most head shops. That was just one of many examples...well I thank you for going and trying.

 

Everyone had their opinion made up and were just there to say it and not hear anything.

 

I like how they let those "professionals" say all they had, but continuously spoke over Frank. That doctor should have his doctors badge revoked, saying that we dont know if salvia is addictive! Pure propaganda. I honestly dont know how you restrained yourself, if it were me those hosts would have left with spit on their lapels, and blood in their mouths. You should psychologically torture matt until he commits suicide, and we can get morning talk shows illegalized. the fact that they had the balls to say that its a matter of protecting the children, just goes to show how close minded and backwards our society is, particularly talk show audiences.
