I'm due in about two weeks...and I'm so tired of being pregnant. I've tried sex, excersize, and so far nothing. Any suggestions for inducing labor? Short of a push down the stairs, I'm willing to try anything.
My older kid had a febrile convulsion, which caused me to go into labor with my second one...I don't recommend terror as an inducer.... Sex worked for the first one though...have it often, cum softens your cervix...
I know a lady at work who took a diuretic but I wouldn't suggest it because a)her doctor chewed her out, and b) her son's mentally handicapped. Though I'm sure the diuretic wasn't the determining factor in the latter, I'm sure it didn't help. So don't do that! My mom swears by the "just give up" method. Haha, with me, they went walking around the mall and a park and had tried just about everything with no results, so they gave up and went back home (an hour and a half from the mall OR hospital), and as soon as she went to bed, her water broke. I've heard sex works, though. And to think I have friends who run around saying how you can't screw after the second trimester. All I can tell you is if you think I'm giving up sex for like 4 and a half months (the third trimester and the healing time), you're fucking goofy. Haha.
My mom said that as soon as she cried and wished that she wasn't pregnant with me that she started to go into labor... Hope you have that baby soon!
wait.. is this your first baby? first babies are generally a little "late" ... my first was 3 days late.. second was 6 days late (after they moved my due date back several times) and my third was 10 days early! probably because i was starving.
I guess repitition is the key. He's happy 'cause I originally said no to sex 'til after the baby. I mean, WTF? I give him BJ's every day. What self-respecting man wouldn't be all, hell yeah I don't have to work for it?
I remember that feeling of wishing my baby would hurry up. I also remember being exhausted and just wanting to get a little uninterupted rest after she was born-I wished I could shove her back in for a few hours-lol! Babies come when they're ready-that's all.
