My stepdad was treated with a needle to do radiofrequency ablation on his sinuses. He needed it for snoring, but it supposedly works for chronic sinusitis too, unless you have some sort of allergy I guess. As a kid I was allergic to dust.
Yeah... Its only my first year, but so far I dont like what I see. But give me a few years more and I'll probably be just like them. So I give you the full right to slap me when that happens.
go to the doctor woman...seriously. i do not understand why people live in discomfort. No offense. I just know when I am sick and stuffy and i can't breathe through my nose that breathing through my mouth bugs the crap out of me and irritates my throat. If people can't get adequate oxygen by breathing through their nose there is something wrong and you need to get it fixed. I am not trying to be bossy. I just care and think people should live comftrabley.
So, would you say or assume that when people breathe a bit more slowly they may have an easier time breathing through their nose?
Thanks for caring. Its actually not discomfort once you get used to it...And I've been breathing like this ever since I remember. But my throat does get irritated a lot. I just ignore it cause it doesnt last very long. It goes away very quickly.
My mom says yeah. He sounded like a chainsaw. Many a night she slept on the couch, and when they built a new house in Texas, she had two master bedrooms put in on either side of the house.
i'd say if you breath slowly you would have an easier time breathing through the nose. thats just based on my experience with doign it myself and helping people that i know. of course, i can breath quickly through my nose, without too much discomfort...its a rapid expansion of the diaphragm which makes that possible...its just theres no reason to breath that quickly. its something i've done because i need quick breaths in the water for swimming...of course i breath through my mouth while swimming its how i teach the kids i work with - even when they're out of breath and gasping for air, i try to get them to slow it down and take deep breaths - and i constantly remind them of the cue, breath through the stomach. its much easier getting a younger kid to do it and get it ingrained than it is an adult...
It's good to do stomach stretches while yawning to train yourself to breathe properly. It's a kind of internal yoga.
but yesterday you said something that indidcates otherwise....just trying to find a solution you are happy with.
We sleep in seperate bedrooms. I am a light sleeper and we wrok oppositte hours. i was sooooo grumpy when we slept together.
