The first first player shooter games on the computer like Wolfenstien 3D and Doom. Also everyone was a pro at super mario and knew all the tricks.

I used to get a little shaken up by some of the " are you afraid of the dark" episodes. lol... And I can relate to just about all of that. I remember every one of those.
and i STILL have a collection of POGs, its still growing from thrift stores im going to have them until i die!!

The 90's were too good to put off now Just to add to the list.. i remember always making these popper things out of paper. you folded it a special way, and when you "flung" it down i'd make a loud noise. cant recall the exact name if there even was one. anyone ever made anything similar?
Haha I remember a lot of things of those, atleast all the ones that hit the Netherlands. Most of those ended up being around here from 1995 to 1998. My memory goes from 1992-1993 so I remember most of the 90's. As do most of my friends.
This is what suits me (I am Romanian): You can sing the rap to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air" - no, I don't know the song, but I've seen the show called 'The Prince of Bel Air' (a few episodes anyway) You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. - Well, maybe even during the week... I did get up early to watch 'Sailor Moon' some hours before going to school (when I had classes in the afternoon) You have pondered why Smurfette was the only female smurf. - YES!! you danced to "wannabe" by the Spice Girls, Females: had a new motto, Males: got a whole lot gay-er. (so tell me what you want, what you really really want.)...and wore the 5 in. shoes - Just watched the video and listened to the song 'Wannabe' Captain Planet. - YES!! I was in primary school... You remember when super nintendo's became popular. - I heard about them... but never got to see one... You remember watching home alone 1, 2 , and 3........and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders" - Just watched Home Alone 1 and 2. You remember New Kids on The Block when they were cool - Yes You knew all the characters names and their life stories on "Saved By The Bell " - sure You watched the original Care Bears, My Little Pony, and Ninja Turtles - I watched the Ninja Turtles and had a few magazines with My Little Pony NANCY DREW AND THE HARDY BOYS WERE THE BEST MYSTERY BOOKS - I read a few books from the Nancy Drew series from my English teacher You know the Macarena by heart. - I did back then... When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs. - Yes Heads Up 7 Up. - 7Up, yes... "POWER OF LOVE" BY CELINE DION..ONLY COUPLES COULD SKATE TO THIS. - the song is still famous That "Little Mermaid" - I got the video cassette and was so happy! still have it Crying when Mufasa died in the Lion King. - a little maybe Getting the privilege to sit in the front seat of the car. - I did once or twice Dinosaurs. - definitely - Jurassic Park and the dinosaurs being exposed at the Geology Museum close to School no. 11 Sailor Moon. - even now Wishbone. (what's the story wishbone) - seen that on Animal Planet when I was 16 I think When Chris tmas was the most exciting time of year. - yes Scrapes & bruises were kissed & made better. - yes When Ninja Turtles ruled the world. - certainly

The 90s was also the decade of the ear-piercing car alarms and carjackings, especially in Florida where tourists were targeted. That seems to have died out. .
