    HC= Hempcultivation.com. Excuse me.

    I suppose organics can be grown to the t or as best as you can. Whats you city water PH? Most water companies will send you a breakdown of its composition. My water supply is 7.2 so I can't be arsed to source pure and that figure is hardly worth R/O. That is MY water though and not yours. Get yours checked or request a breakdown from your supplier.

    I'm not a pur aorganic guy. I use Perlite which in turn uses masses of energy to produce so I'ts hard to be a pure organic grower without effecting the enviroment in some way. Indoors that is. HID (or high intensity discharge lighting) although not as bad as some say still uses the national grid for electric and hence some poor shyline will recieve smoke from it's power station.

    So organics in my world is doing my best in choosing an electrical supplier that uses eniviromental energy, and using nutrients and soil mediums that are not only organic, but acredited organoc status.

    It does make a difference to the smoke no matter what anyone says. Sure hydro is good for yield but what do you want, a good smoke or a quick smoke?

    I'd go for the stream then. Still water holds more harmfull bacteria than good so I'd say the stream.

    John I like the idea of the switch. It sounds like an interesting method your using there and off the top of my head I don't remember anyone using this method.
    John I'll PM you a link to some of my growing shananigans. They include photos and you may be a little shocked my the nature of my growing experiments! If you'd like to leave a reply I'll make myself known to you on the site.

    A nice looking plant by the way, with true form.

    Goldie.

    One good way to get nutrient rich organic water is to capture lots of rainwater (unless in a polluted urban area), that stuff is chock full of good things for the plants. One good way to do this is with 5 gallon buckets, especially under the gutters!(I also have well water when I dont get enough rain, some well water is super mineral rich and others are bad, check the ph and try it on plants). To fertilize, I mix the rainwater with the solution "fishy mulch" and spray it on the leaves (fishy mulch is very common and any garden store should have it). This works SUPER GOOD, I learned this technique from and old hippie who won the "best pot in the SE" like 5 years in a row using this strategy. His motto is G.O.D. makes good pot: Great Out Doors!

    I beg to differ. Albeit its not the best resource for your nutes but I have used their time released soil that feeds for 3 mo.s and my plant is lovin it!! Its a cheap substitue. Just make sure you pH the water to 7.0 or 6.8 to avoid any lockout issues. Just my 2 cents
