Thank the lord, I finally got it! I haven't had it since May! I know all you gals with your perfect cycles think "what the hell's she talking about?' but number one I was worried something was wrong and number two it makes me feel so feminine, I'm a born again woman!!!! Did you know that the ladies you live with have syncronized periods? I do believe my sister and I do. Neither one of us has had it for a few months, and she definitely had PMS yesterday.. we were driving the neighbor kids home from gymnastics and she was whipping through traffic, she started cussing at this guy ahead of us and honked her horn, then she remembered we had little ones in the back seat. Did you know my period makes me write this much? WOohoo!
yup, me and the girls i live with all have the same routine. Well, one is on the pill so we all fit in with her And yes, i got mine too - so lets all join the pink party.
awww, get yourself a hottie and drink some rasberry leaf tea. That helps me. and yes, lol, we do need to get out more. I am just stoked beacsue a) this means i'm not pregnant and b) having your period sucks: so celebrate the suckiness. lets have a sympathy party is what i meant.
I went 9 months without having a period, and the funny thing was, I never got my period. I got a 7lb kid screaming at me! lol Seriously though, I went 5 1/2 months pnce before I had my period. I spent a ton on pregnancy tests in that time! I'm happy for ya!!! Congrats!
go apple dammit now it has set in, i have hot flashes but i'm cold and i can't stop shaking and i ate 7 peanut butter rice krispie treats that i made with my grandma today with chocolate caramel frosting on top.. then i have a bowl of soup now. i wish i had someone to serve to me, dont you? lay on the couch and they can take care of everything.. buy you anything and do anything........ dammit i want one
Congrats, flower. Honey, it might be a good idea to see a Gyne. You may have some hormonal problems, or even early menopause. If you are skipping a lot of periods and having hot flashes, it would be a good idea to see a doctor. No rush, just a good idea for your health. I am glad you finally got yours. Blessings, Maggie
Isnt it great to be a women...I dunno mine are so painful I have to stay home from school...thats even after I am on the pill.
I have always had very irregular periods, my irregularity is caused by Stein-Leventhal syndrome, also called Polycystic ovarian syndrome or a hundred other things --- anyhow, one of the most prevalent symptoms is irregular menstruation, but this particular syndrome also affects a variety of other things, more than half of the women who have it develop diabetes, many also end up with heart disease, high blood pressure and are at risk for stroke. It also affects your metabolic rate due to insulin resistance, your body produces an abundance of insulin that is largely ineffective, causing you to crave food. I've often gone 4-8 months (longer a time or two) without a period. Like I said, this is the cause of MY irregularity! I only mention it because getting checked out for something like this can improve your reproductive health, and in my case it also improves my chances for NOT developing heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke risk and diabetes (I actually have that, but am able to control it with diet and exercise!).... Just my little informative spiel --- Get checked out, chances are missing your period isn't life threatening, but it's a good idea to know WHY you are missing it, ya know??? Good luck to ya!!! Gina.
Haha, you sooo sound like me. I don't get my periods regularly either, and when I do, I'm on Cloud 9...lol. I went 11 months once without getting it, and when I did, it was like the most exciting thing ever...haha.
Indeed . . . I have not had my period for... i'm not really sure, maybe two months now? But really, for all I care, it could never come back. If you wanted to create a personal hell for me, just give me a never-ending period. It doesn't make me want to celebrate being a women, it makes me want to stab myself in the uterus, haha. Yeeeeeah, but that's just me.
