i ate, slept, and traveled comfortably around ecuador for like 20 bucks a day. hostel with shower, 3 hot meals, and a 6 hour bus drive for dirt. i love it

I love South America. Not only is it cheap the people are so nice. The beauty in nature is everywhere. South America has it all.

I went to Costa Rica in March, and things there are pretty cheap. Except for souvineers and reall touristy type stuff because they know they can make money off the tourists. lol. I love Latin America so much. Theres so much culture and nature and the people are sooo freindly. Im going to Ecuador next summer after I graduate. I cant wait!
They are deffinatley affordable, but I wouldnt say they are cheap. 14 dollars for only one night with 13 other people? I personally think 10 or 11 would be better. But It could be worth it if you make some great freinds.
