anyone ever fix a tooth cavity by themselves?

i've got one and don't feel like running out to a dentist. i figure if i drink some scotch and my younger brother takes a drill with a titanium drill bit and gets out the decay and then we put in some epoxy, it will get the job done

any thing else i should know?

a few years ago i went to the dentist for a checkup and he found two holes that needing fillings. one on each side. he decided he'd just do one that day so only half my mouth would be numb and then because the other one wasnt very big it could wait a few months.

about six months later i went back, and there was no hole for him to fill.

so my tooth fixed itself
