I want to protest many people. Magazines. I hate how magazines make it seem like all women should be super skinny. Oh but wait if your to skinny they think you are doing some type of drugs or your not eating right. When you look through a magazine you always see this really pretty women in the ads but wait......its called AIRBRUSH and MAKEUP. Oh yea! Magazines also give you tips to diet but do they give you tips on getting fatter.....NO!!!! because to them fat is bad. I think everybody in their own way looks good. Media. News reporters. When I was 13years old there was a shooting at my school. I remember the night we went to the High School for a meeting about how my school was going to be from now on and when we were going to come back to school. The media was all over the place. My friend's older brother took us and as soon as we got out of the car people from the news came running up to us. And evening after the meeting. It hurt really bad. I mean i just saw 2 people get killed and here people were asking me all these questions and on top of that i was still a kid. I want to protest the media because I dont think they have the right to call people up or to follow them and ask them questions. I know people want to know what all is going on but they shouldnt be stalking them right after something happens. I just dont think it is right how they do things. The Government. They sit there and say USA is a free country but it sure doesnt seem that way. We arent aloud to grow weed in our houses.......but yet isnt it our house. How is it hurting someone if we are growing weed in our house? How is it hurting someone if we are sitting in someones house smoking? They also say they want to help the poor people get off the street then why the hell do the raise the cost on houses and food? If they really want to help then they would lower prices. The War People are getting killed over dumb things. Thats all i can say there and that should be enough. To those who read this thanks.
The magazine thing... Go to Walmart on a real busy day. Look around you real careful at all the people, especially all the women. Then look at those magazines on the shelf in the checkout line with all those "beautiful" and skinny CLONES on the covers. (yea, same face, different hair) I don't think they are human. At least a totally different species. I think it's absolutely ridiculous. Nobody looks like that! (well, hardly anybody) and if they did, they'd stick out like a sore thumb.
lol i use to work at wal-mart last year around this time and i use to do that and was like no one looks like those people on magazines. I am going to start a real magazine. About real people no airbrushing just real people
That's a cheap shot at magazines. Flip ahead a little farther. There's 20 some pages dedicated to getting ahead at work or some other self-improvement. An issue of Cosmo early this fall ran an article explaining how women get so wrapped up in food and promoting eating habits. As far as those women on the covers go, duh they're gorgeous. The modeling world is a business, and like all markets it's Darwinian. The best come out on to. The magazines airbrush them to look better to beat the other magazines. If anyone doesn't know that, they're not a very intelligent person. I won't discuss the media or war, I'll just say the cameramen are just doing their jobs. Weed is illegal, so you can get better at hiding it or just stop growing it, cause that's not gonna change, at least not as fast as you want it to.
First off they shouldnt be airbrushing people (thats what i am trying to say) People arent perfect looking and magazines shouldnt airbrush people to look perfect. I know the cameramen are doing there jobs but their bosses shouldnt say oh you should go here or call these people. They should give people time to heal. And the whole weed thing i know it is illegal and it is going to be for a long time i just dont think it should be.
well im not sure which war u were refering to but in regards to the war in iraq i think its an irresponsible use of violance that is unnecessary. civilians deaths are to me extremly moraly wrong when many of those people are not involved in the political issues that are leaking violance and death. i dont think it is right that soldiers on either side are dieing but on the other hand if they willingly joined the war effort for a cause they believe in, I suppose that risk comes with the job application.
