Ok so tell me if this is possible and what I need to get to make it possible. I want to be able to play on electric guitar or keyboard, a certain segment of music, have it recorded and then played back looped. I know lots of people will steer me the computer path but thats not what I want. I was thinking of getting some sort of tape recorder that records guitar/keyboard (preferably through an input signal and not microphone), then have that hooked up to a sound board. Do you think this would work? and most importently, is there such a tape recorder?
It would be fun to try i guess... Computer is the way to go, unless you have a record deal. Certain programs can edit out static and choppiness, and record pretty good sounding shit.
Boss RC-2 Loop Station Effect Pedal is probable what your lookinh for.. 1/4 jack can also be used for a keyboard....
