We already have a Muppet's poll, but I haven't seen one for Sesame Street and I know y'all want one, since I've seen people posting their fav Sesame Street characters in the Muppet's poll. So here ya go!
I always did and still do love Elmo. Who outgrows Elmo? Cookie Monster, of course. He was always so adorable. And I liked Bert, even though he was cynical. Hey, has anyone seen that sketch, I think it was Mad TV, about gay Bert and Ernie? Lmao!
no one in their right minds outgrows Sesame Street...Im still warped on Bear in the big blue house...
There's another kid's show that I can't help but like, the Backyardigans. I know it's fairly new, and I was nowhere near childhood when it came out, but it's a good show. My sister and I used to play make believe like that all the time as kids, so it's nostalgic. I think we spent more time playing make believe than playing with toys or games. It's also a hell of a lot more intelligent than Telletubbies, so as far as I'm concerned it's a better thing for the kids to be watching. There's lot's of music, and it encourages creativity and imagination.
Snuffleupagus and Cookie Monster were always the coolest things on earth to me. Snuffleupagus seems like he should be fighting Godzilla, and nobody would believe Japan that it really happened.
Snuffy was always my favorite. I was in booksamillion the other day and saw a stuffed animal snuffy. I almost bought it.
I loveeeee Snuffy. Did anyone see that sketch on Mad TV where Big Bird had Bird flu? Or was it SNL? And the Count was a vampire. So that's pretty sweet for a kid's show.
