Cat just swatted me across the face...

So I'm watching TV and something really dumb comes on and I said something dumb to make fun of it. My cat Nefertiti is sitting in my lap and she reaches up and swats me across the face with her paw!
We got her fixed after she had her first litter, but those mom hormones are still flowin' through her, I swear...

 

LOL. Cats are weird like that.

 

My cats have been known not only to do this to me from time to time, but to do it to my dogs too as they walk by them while they are sleeping! I am so proud of all my critters for getting along so well, since my dogs accept this behavior as part of being a cat or a dog, depending on your perspective and it really bothers them not at all or me either for that matter...

 

When I had a cat he always used to be completely amiable and relaxed, then suddenly he'd go scatty and dig his claws into you and swat you. I think it's just cats nature to test the water occasionally and try and assert their dominance on you.

 

Ha, I get her back from time to time. I stick my face in her belly and growl like I'm gonna bite her and she freaks out and bites my head...

I need a life.
