Hey guys long time no post. I got a new Vapir the other day and I've been trying to use it but it doesn't seem to work all that great. I use it at a temp of about 275-300 fahrenheit which is 25-50 degrees hotter than they say to use it at. I'm wondering.. 1. How hot am I supposed to be using it? 2. And which way is more effective... The bag or the whip?
I don't know vapes very well.. but I would suggest looking up the temperature most commonly used by users around the forum.. or maybe a google search could help. If I remember correctly, 300 is too low.. I think (*think*) it's around 375.. but do the research before trying it out.
Hey Twizz, I use a vape a lot... I don't have a vapair, (I use a vapowarez cannon).... but basically, it should be similar in theory of how it works. Anyhow, when I first got mine, the mistake I made at the beginning was setting the temprature too low (nothing came out). The manufacture warns that setting it too high might start to burn the hurb... but really, thats better than too low, as nothing will burn or vape. Try cranking it to a much higher setting, then lower it if you find your getting a smoke/vape mix.... at least you'll get high that way... and the learning curve is more enjoyable. PS: I remember when I was making green dragon in the past, that a guy said you need to warm up your hurb before putting it into the drink.. that way you activate the cannabanoids.. however.. they warned not to go over 320 degreese, as if you go above that, your herb will start to vaporise... so... in your case, you want it to vap... peace soc
i would suggest the bag over the wip as you can keep inhaling from the bag and it stays in there if you want to wait a few minutes between hits.
I use it @ 350F. It seems pretty fucking hot (especially because the vape is mostly this plastic-kinda stuff) but it hasn't had any visible damage yet. I find that if I vape it @ 350 it works great, and then I take the used substance and smoke it in a jay to get RRRREALLY fucked up. I mean, UNBELIEVABLY fucked up. A lot of my friends say they don't get high from it though... I have a hard time noticing I'm high too, but I think it's because it's a new feeling for me and I'm not used to it. It's more like a head-high where I'm hyper and talkative but my eyes aren't red and swollen/squinting.
