How does everyone here find time to smoke?

By that I mean because of drug tests. I need a job pretty soon so I can't do it anymore, and even if I get a job I'll be nervous of just random things that may occur that require a drug test.

 

I refuse to take a drug test, because I feel it's against my human rights.
So that's how I avoid it.

You shouldn't be afraid of random drug testing unless your work advertises it. Plus, there are plenty of places that don't test.

 

i've never had a job where i had to be drug tested, so i never worried about it
the only time i had to ever be clean was for a drug test in high school, which i quit smoking a week before and passed

after that i could toke all i wanted.. and still can

 

A drug test in highschool? sheesh.

I just smoke after school, I don't have much going on at this point in my life.

 

Since you're 18 I'm not going to be talking about government jobs or serious jobs like that.

That being said, the places that drug test are usually big chain places and supermarkets (Quiznos, Vons, fast food places). If you're working at the local ice cream shop, doubtful. Baskin-Robbins, maybe.

 

I've worked as a dishwasher and prep cook. Local Resturaunts usually don't drug test so they're good places to work but the hours suck. I wouldn't be worried about random tests, it costs a lot of money to have people tested and most places will only require a pre-employment test. Stage-hand is also a good job that doesn't test.

 

i was never drug tested for my job. I have time to blaze because i make time for it.

shit im on probation and have a union job that tests and i smoke you just havta be dedicated to the weed like me,,, and you'll find ways around it

 

yeah! fuckin tell me about it!! drug tests in high school were a big fuckin joke. it was for athletes and people that drove to school.. meaning... the tests were pointless, because the stoners didn't play sports, and usually didn't drive to school.. i was the one that had to drive all my stoner friends :tongue: so i was the one stuck getting tested lol

Just get a job that doesn't test if you're that worried about. Worked for me.

 

Ive been drug tested for a few jobs. Most of the tests they give out for jobs are saliva tests and those really really really suck. My high school used to random drug test a shit load of students every month. I kept tokin! Out of the 6 years that I went to this school (it was a middle school and a high school) I never got drug tested. I got soooo lucky!

personaly though i preffer to stay jobless as much as i can, and smoke whenever i wanna

i hate bosses so when i have worked ibve worked for myself only
and the only drug testin i did was for the quality of the drugs

 

Hope you don't mind me asking soaringeagle, but I know you travel a lot. How do you manage to support yourself?

 

My Boss is a stoner,so theres no drug tests at my work, the only problem with having a stoner for a boss is that my pay usually goes in a day or two late lol.

and my school has a reputation for all the stoners/musos that go there....so if they tried to introduce drug testing pretty much everyone would refuse it

 

If your job doesn't initially drug test you when you apply, then they probably won't later unless you give them reason to. The way I look at it is that "random" drug tests are usually never random; they know who they're gonna give the test and when they're gonna do it. It would be a waste of money for them if they drug tested people who they didn't think did any drugs. I would just say don't do stupid shit like come in to work high or toke up on break or something like that. On the ride home just like up a joint and you'll be good to go!
