it's been 6 months (?) since i stopped brushing/conditioning my hair and about half my hair is dreads (in the back) and the the rest are curly tangles (about to be dreads!). so, the dreads i have were formed by neglect and are CRAZY. yeah, crazy-awesome.

some are fat, some are skinny, some are flat and short, some are rounded and elongated, all are loopy, curly and cute. i love them!

who else here has really irregular funny dreads? put up your picture if you can... i would, but i don't have a good camera and it's awfully hard to take photos of the back of your own head. :)

Pretty much all of my dreads are absolutely ridiculously loopy and misshapen. And I backcombed to start them. lol.

My dreads dont form together, all the loose hairs do. But they all lock at the bottom.. so i have big loops of hair going from the top of the dread to their roots. drives me insane.

slashix-they will get better, they are only a month old...dreads take a ton of patience..

I had some pretty crazy dreads, a lot would dread together at the root, then be seperate at the bottom...lots of kinks, loops, etc etc.

All my dreads are crazy and loopy and I love them, but I have these three in the back that are all separate at the roots, then dreaded together in the middle, and separate at the ends again. It's a result of not giving a shit and not ripping my hair apart enough. I only rip like once a month. Eh, oh well, I love it.
