Valium (yet another thread about it)

First off, I am new here. So please forgive me for repeating any questions that may have been asked before.

I did do a search about valium in this forum but it came up empty pertaining to anything I need to know about it.

OK, here goes.
I just purchased some 10mg Valiums (50 tabs). The manufacturer of the valiums are Roche. I have heard that this manufacturer is pretty good. Can anyone here who has taken valium from these guys confirm that they are decent makers? The second thing is I have been on Xanax for the last 4 weeks. I have severe anxiety and panic attacks (certain things in my life which has just recently occured have really taken its toll on me). The Xanax was prescribed to me by my doc,..... however,.... he said that he will not prescribe me Valiums because (in his own words) " they are just to strong". I assume he means that they will basically put me out....I guess.
Where I am confused at is that I was taking Xanax 2mgs at a time. That really did nothing for me. I had to take up to 3mgs (at once) just to feel relaxed and settled down. Although I expalined this to him (my doctor) he said that valiums were to strong and he would not prescribe me valiums.

I guess my question about Valimus are, what exactly do they do and what should I expect from (1) 10mg pill? Also, how much valium (in mgs) should I take? Remember, I had to take 3 mgs of Xanax just to feel relaxed. For the Valium should I take (2) pills (which would be 20mgs) at a time?

My biggest question is are they better than Xanax? Are the effects better and do they work better?

xanax is an anti depressant. valium is for nerves and epilepsy. xanax is way stronger than valium, so i don't know why your doctor says that it isn't. if u have anxiety, then valium is the way to go, if u just wanna get fu**ed up, xanax would be my first chioce. well actually, pills are not as yummy and satisfying as pot. so really, treat yourself. muah!!!

 

I heard just the opposite. I heard that Valium is stronger than Xanax. Hmm, maybe the info I read was off. Anyoe esle agree that Xanax is stronger than Xanax.

I meant Valium stronger than Xanax. I also read that 10mgs Vaiulms will make you much "mellower" than Xanax. I could be wrong since I have never taked Valiums yet.

I just turned 30 (old bastard I know). I am about 250 pounds. Mostly muscle though. Not sure if that will have an effect anyway.

 

Well As 130 Lb Female, The First Time I Took Valium I Took 40 Mgs. I Was Drinking Also So I Fell Asleep Fast. I Would Say, Try 20 Mg's At First To Be Safe, But Really, If U Just Wanna Get Fucked Up, Take 20mg's And Then If U Don't Feel Anything Within An Hour, Snort 20 More!! Mg's That Is.
