i always overpack, because i know every 3 day trip might become a 3 month trip like when i went to new mexico for a week, it took me a year to get back home so i always pack for at least twice as long as i plan on staying (and usualy find i needed to pack more)
For a trip of several months to several years I pack about 12 kilograms of stuff. This includes clothes, toilet stuff and books. The books probably make up 10 kilograms of the total weight.
Yeah, it's useless to take lots of random crap for two basic reasons: 1. You have to carry all the extra weight 2. You can always buy things you need But then again, for a two week trip I would probably take more stuff than for a two year trip.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I have my own luggage so I can carry all my own stuff. I dont like tavelling light. But I like travelling organized
Yeah, me too. I just bought the new agatha ruiz de la prada luggage set...I think you'd love it... And just beacuse of it, I cant wait to travel....
i pack last minute too as a rule, if i can fit it in my pack,or tie it on then i'll take it when i travel though i dont do the hotel thing..im sleepin deep in the woods 100 miles from the nearest stores, so if i forget something...i'm screwed
Nah, I pack very light when I travel. Twenty pounds max. Even when I hike my base pack weight is under 15 pounds. And that's heavy by some standards.
I'm kindda always prepared, so I do pack stuff that I probably won't use while traveling but I packed it just in case. I can always carry whatever I pack. But on the short 1-5 day trips I usually pack incredibly light. I have the best wrinkle-free slinky black dress is perfect for stuffing into a bag.
