Anybody else buy disposable plates and shit because they’re too lazy to wash dishes?

I use real plates for everything-even take out. I do use paper plates, but only as disposible cutting boards.

    ^^I'm with treehuggerT.

I was raised to sit at the table, and set it properly.

only once did I use disposable plates and it was only cos we had a house mate who wouldn't clean his plates till the day after he used them. He would wash his previous days plates when he finished with his plates of that day. Well another house mate took and hid all the plates and bought disposable ones till he learned his lesson to humiliate him into shaping up. He said he didn't understand but he didn't mind and we were stuck with disposables till we went our separate ways. I still wonder what was wrong with him.

Why was it such a big deal? I mean, at least he was washing his plates in a reasonable time frame...

Well It was in Chicago during a V hot summer, there were bugs and mold and a bad smell. Plus he was quite passive aggressive and we thought he was doing is just to put us in our place. He was short balding at 22 and cross eyed and he had the lovely habit of correcting everyone about everything. He even corrected me on my pronunciation of the names of places in my home country. Over all I think he just didn't know any better when it came to the dishes.

No, I dishes are super easy. Id like to have a collection of nice dishes than have to keep running to the dollar store to buy paper plates. Kind of a waste.
