how does on abtain adderral from a dr.?

    I am an adult and was wondering what tricks there might be being my age?

    Your age will work against you in this case. Doctors are hesitant to prescribe adderall for the first time once your an adult due to the high abuse potential. Not that this makes much sense, but that tends to be how it goes.

    If your doctor diagnoses you with Adult ADHD the first line of medications is often anti-depressants for reasons i wont get into here. Following that they will likely try stratera, concerta and other less abuse prone drugs. If/when those don't work thats when they are more comfortable prescribing adderall or dexedrine.
