The Least Talked About Experiences of Cannabis

You always hear of the basic effects of cannabis, but you hardly ever hear about the experiences that some people experience. In this thread, post some bizarre moments that you have had while high.

I have either personally experienced, or heard about these moments:

Me:

1) While looking into the mirror, everything around me turns pitch black, and all that is left is a 3rd person view of my own face, neon-colored and in 2d. There is also a certain depth to this 2d image - My face looks like pure energy.


2) Images seem to have more depth and pop out. This is especially interesting when you view a high resolution photo of a person while staring at the face. The person seems to almost come alive, and at certain moments, could fool me to believe that they are.

3) Hearing singers accidently bump their mic into something while listening to their song. I once heard someone drop something in the background of November Rain.

4) Intense horniness: It's as if your entire being has been replaced with the urge to fuck.

5) Sensing two types of thought. I can 'see' my own thoughts. There is thought that is going at the speed of light, and thought that is going slightly slower, and the two coexist.

6) While looking into the mirror, you have a sense that the person looking back at you isn't yourself. Usually when this happens, I can notice what's fake about me, and what makes me: me.


Friends:
1) Face morphing while looking at yourself in the mirror (My friend told me that he saw his face turn into many odd faces, including the starcraft alien face).

 

One time I was walking on grass, and it felt like I was trudging through a three inch puddle. I even asked the friends I was with if we were walking through water.

Another time I hallucinated a car. I was getting out of a friend's car, looked behind me and saw a car right there, with the headlights' glare right in my face. I turned around and quickly walked in the opposite direction (unfortunately, stealth is often a key factor when I smoke). I looked behind me, and the car was gone.

Probably the scariest thing that's happened to me high is when I started to hear this loud crinkling noise in my head. It freaked me out. Hearing things when I'm high always scares me, because it makes me think about schizophrenia.

 

Also, sober people tend to annoy me when I'm high. All the stupid little things that we all do (including myself) suddenly stick out, until they're the only thing I notice.

I get that too. Schizophrenia doesn't worry me, though. If you were meant to get Schizophrenia, then you will get it. Cannabis isn't going to magically bring that about. Research is riddled with a lot of confusion of cause and effect.

Me too. People seem so insane to me while high. It's like, we're all nut-so beings acting out our whacked out mannerisms, yet no one takes notice, and that lack of noticing makes all of this even more peculiar.

Ive had lots of these experiences, too many and hazy to recall them all.

But recently, I stayed up ALL night drinking- wast hung over, just sleep deprived. I got high the next morning and for the rest of the day all my families voices sounded like my friends voices.

one time i got really stoned and for about 10 minutes it felt like i was walking through spider webs.. or like they were clinging to my face or something

 

I think I know what you mean there, i have felt like that too particularly in my early days of smoking hashish. I was scared to look at my reflection sometimes.

Have you noticed how peoples eyes look really weird also?

It sort of stands to reason really, I mean you are looking into someones visual transducer into their island of consciousness. I think there are levels of collective awareness that we all have suppressed, but when you smoke things like hash and that begin to come to the surface.

I haven't been high around other people before. I have never gone outside while high before, because I am too nervous of being noticed as obviously stoned.


That sounds sweet, though. I should check that out very soon, sounds interesting.

I see the brain as a filter of reality, and a possible prison for our minds. It's no wonder that THC blocks cannabinoid receptors in the brain.

 

I can't believe I forgot this experience. It's pretty huge, and is actually quite remarkable. Although, I don't know how many people will believe me when I say this:

My best friend and I were high and chatted over the internet. While we were chatting, I felt my face merge into the part of the screen where the AIM chat window was displayed. As this was happening, I felt terrified, then at ease and I allowed the experience to take over me. The remarkable part of this story is that my friend experienced the same thing at the same time... this being 3,000k miles away from each other, communicating to each other online. We both described the experience the same way. And before you test the validity of my best friends statement, I'll let you know that we have been very close friends for 9 years and we never lie to each other.

Believe me or not. I really don't care. I know what we experienced, and that's enough evidence for me.

If anyone is familar with Dragon Ball Z, then think about Goku and Vegeta merging as one entity to form Gojeta. It felt as if my best friend and I were going to merge into one consciousness. If you don't know about Dragon Ball Z, then think about Mr. Spocks mind meld ability from Star Trek...

If I ever wanted proof that empiricism isn't a superior proof to non-empirical data, then I received it on that day. Some things just can't be measured simply due to the nature of the subject at hand... anyway, I digress.

That's some crazy shit that you guys are talking about. I wish I was smoking what you're smoking.

I thought I heard black birds quacking once. And another time I thought I heard an owl outside of my window. One time over the summer I smoked by myself and my vision went black for a second or two then went back to normal. I got a head rush too...it was odd.

 

Had only two things that I ate one day (IHOP) and my sisters cooking (she can make toast without burning it but that's about as good as it gets). I was just sitting around late night playing some computer game and felt my stomach becoming upset.

I ignored it thinking it was just some gas build up, and being really focus on the game I kept ignoring it. I eventually go to use the bathroom but just a couple of farts that was it. Go back to playing the computer game when it I start to think I'm backed up, getting to the point where stomach pain became sharper and sharper.

Thinking it'd benefit or relax my stomach enough to take a #2 I got blazed, not very much if I remember. For some reason the high and stone became much more than what I thought I vaped. I knew this immediately when I started to just randomly go through thoughts without an end point. I don't know if I was just walking around in circles but I eventually made it to the bathroom.

By this time my stomach is hurting pretty bad but from being blazed, and at the same time I was blazed out of my mind. I don't know if the pain potentiated how blazed I was but I hadn't gotten that high in a while.

Finally getting on the toilet, I push out very big farts but no shart. Pain grew more and more and at the same time I was thinking im so high what is going on, I finally explode and thats how it felt and you would think there would be relief but all I felt was pain. With this pain and blazed shithoused I started thinking negatively thinking I'm going to die I am going to die on the shitter. After the initial volcano I felt as if I still had to go so I just sat there in pain when all i wanted to do was lie straight down from the toilet and just lie there and if I poop i poop on the floor.

I finally sense I'm done, wiping takes over 5 minutes and I finally go to my room and just try to fall asleep still very high and still pain in my stomach. It's a bad feeling when you lie down and say to yourself if i poop my pants who cares I just want relief.

 

ok last night i went with a friend to go repo some cars.we went up a street and then backed back down it.this dude comes to the truck and asks what we were lookin for.then he left.we go back up the street by the dudes house.hes on the porch with his girl.well my buddy goes "LOOK!!! shes suckin his D**K!!!!!"i was like WTF?so we turned around and went by again and sure as shit shes blowin the dude on the fuckin porch!!!!!!


so far that was the strangest thing ive seen while i was stoned stupid.

 

well socially i feel alot more on top of things like you people above are saying you notice little mannerisms and tones in voice in people(and yourself) you dont usually notice, sometimes it makes me feel self-conscious but ive grown to look at it as an opp. to improve and work and stupid shit i do. also people look like animals to me haha, i feel like a dog.


thoughts like my thoughts have flowing visuals to them, and i picture cartoon characters in my head that resemble mickey mouse/daffy duck/goofy looking disney characters. like my friends are put in that form when i think about em.

the flying thing, like say your high in class or some shit, people who never smoked weed think your just sleeping but your really in a world behind your eyes enjoying the zooone, forces of warmth and complete pleasure just make me feel as if im on a roller coaster ripping from my body haha. the occasional visual pops up as well. my favourite part.

also cigs rip my head apart feels like a avalanche going down my throat into my lungs, and i feel my vision is being knocked back and looking at my brain. kool milds or marlboro smooths are great!

 

dude yes, i had that shit happen, the world became a bublble and just froze and popped and i could see black for a few seconds haha.

 

ive greened twice once really bad once no so bad

First time i was at a friends house and i had to get home..... the hardest thing i ever had to do (i threw up on the way) every thing was plastercene and everything was moving at like 1/4 its normal speed. i was paranoid that this guy with a banjo and a sombrero was following me and i thing i saw a unicorn

second time (actually was yesterday) i was at my house and i didnt have visine... my eyes stung like you wouldnt beleve. i had painfull crawling skinn and though i was too big like in alice and wonderland.... i went to bed but whenever i closed my eyes i saw all this trippy shit... dont remember what most of it was, just remember seeing it

Visuals were cool, but sensations sucked

Wandering the streets of Amsterdam whilst being baked out of my gourd is probably my strangest experience. But, I do hear shit all the time. Auditory hallucinations are my number 1 side effect of smoking. More than the munchies, more than acute laziness, and even more than the red eyes. For some reason, I just hear shit all the time when I'm high. I always think people are saying things to me when they are not. It drives my friends nuts.

 

funny you mention that.im in my truck on the laptop right now stoned fucking stupid.took me like 5 minute to find the cursor to click on reply and probably another 5 minutes telling you that.but im hearing my IMs noises like somebody is talking to me on AIM and Yahoo!!!but i aint talkin to noone exscept maybe for my coffee.
