The 60s are back, (nearly)

Ive been watching everything, and its all going back to the greatest decade of all time, the clothes, music, governments attitude, just generally most things seem to be becoming more and more like they were...

Tell me things that you see, (C'MON)

Uh many people who were alive in the sixties consider it to be the darkest decade of their lives. If that's your point of view, then I can agree, we are living in dark times.

 

Jet reminds me of a 60s rock band. I do believe the 60s is coming back because people are trying to be creative. Of course there will always be a lot of crap out there...

 

you guys know that the "60's" wasn't as great as people make it out to be. its very romantacized....its all about state of mind, you can make this time just as cool as the 60's ever was...its all state of mind.....be posotive....

Intresting times in history never repeat them selves. There might be some simularites here and there but nothing that in anyway re-creates the 60's, but a time might come thats better then the 60s, MAYBE.

The spirit of the sixties is being carried on by the environmental movement. Back then it was civil rights, anti war and music. Saving the enviornment is, today, more vital than anything else. The sixties had Blowin' In The Wind and All You Need Is Love. We need some environmental anthems. I have one on my CD. It can be heard at CD Baby,com. (Search James Greenfield) Its called Save The Land. I'm asking them to make it downloadable free.

 

I agree that enviroment is one OF the MOST important things, but is the gravest thing to find some anthems ? It looks little bit artificial.
Anyway, in our country the most ,,hippie" people are moving along enviromental events or non-political, non-profit ecological organizations.
But I feel more strongly that like a lot of people are solicitous about good things, lot of people also don´t know what to do with themselves (in negative meaning)....also there aren´t small group of humans who are pretty lethargic.
