I really enjoyed it as well. One of the few movies I would go see again and not be bored. It's just so cool the way it was shot. No wonder that two of the people I went to see it with had already seen it and wanted to see it again.
Good Movie It was filmed in a style reminiscent of The Blair Witch Project (only this movie actually had a working budget) hotwater
anyone else think that the monster was probably heavily influenced by Sin from FFX? everyone was talking about godzilla, but i immediatly thought of sin, they even look the same...but great movie. they say a sequel is probable, but it will just be another person with a camera during the same attack. it cant be as good though because all the mystery is gone. we already know what it looks like and those little spawn guys and the exploding if you get bit and all
Not necessarily. There could be more monsters lurking on the ocean floor, waiting to pounce on another coastal city. Or maybe next movie they'll have a bunch of them attacking. If this monster was the result of radioactivity then there could be other radioactive monsters different from this one. There are lots of possibilities.
i never heard anything about radioactive shit. i read that the director said that these monsters lived under water and shit. a satallite fell back to earth and hit or scared a baby one and it went into a rampage like how elephants or bulls do. you can even see the satallite fall to earth at the very end. when they are at coney island and the girl says "I had a good day". you see it fall and splash in the distant backround. but i love seeing movies like this for the first time. like when i saw alien for the first time. no matter how many times they make a sequal, you will never have that WTF!?!?!?! feeling when teh alien burst out of his stomach you had the first time.
I liked this movie a lot, the camera shots I didnt mind but there were some parts I really wanted to see that they didnt show, and I was wondering, that camera was dropped so many times, in real life, it would have broken. The helicopper scene really freaked me and also the part where they get the girl and a sharp metal was in her, was kinda stupid but overall, good movie.
I liked the movie but I wish it was longer and they got into more detail plus the ending was kinda lame
I saw it on the opening day. My friend I was with did not like it and she left the theatre with a headache from all the shakiness of the camera. I liked it a lot, I thought it as a great story but i think a normal perspective would have worked better, or maybe a combination of the two perspectives... They've done crazier things with movies.
Half the people Ive talked to said its terrible (Im just not sure if they said it just because others have) and the other half said it was great. Still got to see it myself though.
Average american hollywood movie, where two people become the focus of something much bigger than an individual or two. But ..... who doesn't like monster movies? That helicopter scene, man.
Good if you're into action movies and special effects but if you aren't steer clear because that's all it is.
